Blue Sea Chick is an initiative to inform and involve young people in conservation efforts. While its main goal is to spread awareness about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, BSC also delves into wider environmental topics, illustrating impact and interconectivity.
Blue Sea Chick's reality-based web series follows Rose Mallare and Grace Paglen. During the series, Rose and Grace share fun pieces of their lives and travels, their journey to learn about and protect the world's oceans, and give audiences simple environmental challenges.
As Rose says at the end of Blue Sea Chick's first video "We're going to need your help, SERIOUSLY!"
We want to make Blue Sea Chick a place to get informed, get involved, have a voice, and connect with a community to organize projects.
